Thursday, April 10 – Sunday, April 13
This four day workshop has been created to build community and skills around land stewardship/tending, restoration, and management for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Led by experienced queer land managers and educators, this workshop is an opportunity to work in community to explore or deepen your own knowledge of restoration practices along with land connection and understanding natural relationships, specifically for Willamette Valley ecosystems. This workshop aims to build and expand the network of folks working as stewards of our local ecosystems. We support and actively work towards land back and land justice. Maximum 16 participants.
We encourage you to apply if at least one or ideally several of the following are true:
-you identify as 2SLGBTQIA+
-you are young or new to the field of restoration/land-tending/ecology
-you are excited to learn
-you are an existing professional in a related field and want to support this capacity building
-you are local to the south Willamette Valley
-you are looking to build queer land-tending community
-you are ready to get your hands dirty!
