Get outside with Coast Fork Birders on February 18 for a guided bird walk to coordinate with the 2023 Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC)! The GBBC is a chance for people around the world to get out, count and celebrate birds! During this walk participants add their bird-sightings to the iNaturalist or eBird apps, contributing to our knowledge of birds and our ability to help conserve them.
Join us at Row River Nature Park for a bird walk suitable for all birding abilities. We will be meeting up at the kiosk near the park entrance by the weigh station at 8am. The walk takes place on paved surfaces and can accommodate wheelchairs and those with limited mobility. Don’t have 3 hours? No worries, stay as little or long as you like! This is a great opportunity for new birders to learn how to identify a number of local birds. Binoculars are helpful, but not required to enjoy this outing. No dogs, please.
