Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council has teamed up with Filmmaker Jeremy Monroe from Freshwaters Illustrated and the Opal Center for Arts & Education to put on a public screening of Jeremy’s film, Hidden Rivers.
Hidden Rivers is a 1-hour film that explores the rivers and streams
of the Southern Appalachian region, North America’s most biologically rich waters. The film follows the work of conservation biologists and explorers throughout the region – revealing both the beauty and vulnerability of this aquatic life – and how many people are finding ways to protect these ecosystems.
Filmmaker Jeremy Monroe from Freshwaters Illustrated will be on hand for a post film Q&A session.
Screening at the Opal Theater at 6pm, Wednesday, November 13 (doors open at 5:30pm).
All ages welcome, admission is free with suggested donation.
Seating is first come first served. We’ll see you there!
