Cottage Grove Christmas Bird Count

Description: Join the Coast Fork Birders in the Cottage Grove Christmas Bird Count! All levels of bird enthusiasts are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to contribute to a great citizen science effort while learning bird identification from experienced birders. This event is coordinated by Grace Fowler-Gore and each count section will be led by a Coast Fork Birders member. Participants will gather at 7am at the Koffee Kup, 1241 N. Pacific Hwy. (Hwy. 99), Cottage Grove, for a morning breakfast meeting to organize into teams. Birders will head into the field by 7:30am. The end of day “countdown” will take place at 4pm at El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 725 E. Gibbs Ave., Cottage Grove.
