Fun for the whole family, this event will feature local site tours, live music, informational booths hosted by community organizations, local vendors, youth activities, face painting, food and a Native American blessing.
Local tours will take place at the City of Cottage Grove’s Drinking Water (10:30 am) & Waste Water (12:00 pm) Treatment Plants, and Kizer Creek Farm (2:30pm). Round trip transportation from Coiner Park to tour locations will be provided by South Lane Wheels at no cost to participants.
The 2018 Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 21st from 10am to 4pm at Coiner Park, 1319 East Main Street in Cottage Grove. The event is free and open to the public. Tour sign up is available day of, at the Earth Day information booth.
