Your favorite family-friendly informative public meeting series returns, bringing a stellar line-up of guest speakers on a variety of fascinating topics!
This month we’re looking forward to a great presentation by Mount Pisgah Arboretum Environmental Educator, Kevin House.
Kevin was born and raised in Oregon where he grew up camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. He has a master’s degree in biology and spent several years teaching biology and ecology classes at a community college in Southern California. Kevin loves watching birds, finding fungi, and talking excessively about cool nature stuff.
We host these family-friendly events on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm at the Axe & Fiddle, 657 E. Main Street in Cottage Grove.
Events begin with informal socializing, trivia, and updates about the watershed and watershed council. The Science on Tap presentation begins at 6pm. The event is free to the public, with a $5 donation suggested.
