Discover spring wildflowers in bloom at Bikes to Blooms on Saturday, May 13th from 8am-1pm at Bake Stewart Park! With a local expert as your guide, you’re invited to explore a rare, remnant prairie and oak habitat along Dorena Lake. Bikes to Blooms is a free event featuring activities for families and nature enthusiasts, including a morning bird walk, guided wildflower, butterfly and bee walks, and educational booths hosted by local organizations. Travel southeast of Cottage Grove and experience this ecologically valuable and scenic landscape and to see the southern Willamette Valley in bloom.

- 9-11am – Booths Open
- 10am – Guided Wildflower Walk
- 11am – Guided Wildflower Walk
- 12pm – Guided Bee & Butterfly Walk
This year’s Bikes to Blooms event coincides with World Migratory Bird Day! During our morning guided bird walk, participants can use their iNaturalist app to record bird sightings and contribute important data to this annual campaign highlighting the need for the conservation of migratory birds.
All activities are accessible by car and carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited. If cycling, wear a helmet and be cautious of variable trail conditions. Please leave dogs at home.
