DESCRIPTION:Science on Tap is taking the month of June off\, but we will be
  back with lots more great presentations from July - October!\n\nIn July w
 e're excited to be welcoming biologist and author Tom Titus  for "Breath
 less: Celebrating Salamanders and Their Small Wild Spaces”.\n\n\n\nTom i
 s an amphibian biologist\, forager\, father\, grandfather\, and free-range
  philosopher who writes at the messy interface of human experience and the
  natural world. He somehow corralled divergent paths in music\, education\
 , and biology into a career in evolutionary genetics\, from which he is gr
 atefully retired. Tom has authored three books of essays and poetry inspir
 ed by spawning salmon\, the silence of salamanders\, wind in old trees\, a
 nd a decaying house in the Coast Range. He is passionate about salamanders
  and loves bourbon straight\, coffee stiff\, salsa hot\, and writing that 
 makes him laugh and cry\, preferably at the same time. Find his blog at "W

 uly 22nd.\n\nWe host these family-friendly events on the fourth Tuesday of
  each month from 5-7pm at the Axe &amp\; Fiddle\, 657 E. Main St. in Cott
 age Grove.\n\n\nEvents begin with informal socializing\, trivia\, and upda
 tes about the watershed and watershed council. The Science on Tap presenta
 tion begins at 6pm.\n\nThe event is free to the public\, with a $5 donatio
 n suggested.
