 ovember for a screening of Mr. Nakamura's short film\, Forest Trail: A Sto
 ry of Gentle Forestry in Hokkaido.\n\nHere's what Yuta has to say about ab
 out his film:\n\n\n\nAs a Hokkaido-based photographer and film maker\, I s
 pend most of my time outside capturing the activities of foresters and ski
 ers in the northern forests and\nmountains. Over the last four years\, I
 ’ve been documenting the activities of two foresters who are the main fo
 cus of this short film. These men and others are trying to create a more g
 entle and thoughtful approach to forest management here in northern Japan.
  I made this film to share their passion and their story with people aroun
 d the world.\n\nCFWWC hosts these family-friendly events on the fourth Tue
 sday of most months from 5-7pm at the Axe &amp\; Fiddle\, 657 E. Main St. 
 in Cottage Grove.\n\nEvents begin with informal socializing\, trivia\, and
  updates about the watershed and watershed council. The Science on Tap pre
 sentation begins at 6pm.\n\nThe event is free to the public\, with a $5 do
 nation suggested.\n\nALSO:\nJust a reminder that thanks to the generous ef
