He has lived in Eugene and Springfield for most of his life and has been volunteering planting and caring for tr ees and natural areas there since 1986.\n\nErik holds a BA from the UO\, a nd a MA in applied anthropology from OSU\, and is an ISA-certified arbori st\, and municipal specialist. He  is also a certified  arborist for Sp erry Tree Care.\n\n\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \; \n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n&nbs p\;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n& nbsp\;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n \nWe host these family-friendly events on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm at the Axe &\; Fiddle\, 657 E. Main St. in Cottage Grove.\n Events begin with informal socializing\, trivia\, and updates about the wa tershed and watershed council. The Science on Tap presentation begins at 6 pm.\nThe event is free to the public\, with a $5 donation suggested.
