 Science on Tap! Have a pint with the watershed council and the people we w

 d 10% of all sales benefit the CFWWC.\n\nFeaturing a presentation on "The 
 Willamette Valley Historical Ecology Project" by Dr. Jaime Kennedy\, Direc
 tor of the Research Division at the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural Hist
 ory!\n\n\n“Archaeologists from Portland State University (PSU) and the U
 niversity of Oregon (UO) partnered with the US Army Corps of Engineers (US
 ACE) to develop a historical ecology research program for the USACE Willam
 ette Valley Project. The collaboration brought together a group of USACE\,
  PSU\, and UO staff\, faculty and consultants who worked together to provi
 de training and professional development opportunities for graduate and un
 dergraduate students in the field of archaeology and cultural resource man
 agement. The educational training aimed to increase diversity and inclusiv
 ity practices through community outreach\, Tribal coordination\, and resea
 rch collaboration.”\n\nThe Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council (CFWW
 C) hosts a family-friendly monthly public meeting series called Science on
  Tap on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm at the Axe &amp\; Fidd
 le\, 657 E. Main Street in Cottage Grove. The event begins with informal s
 ocializing\, trivia\, and updates about the watershed and watershed counci
 l. The Science on Tap presentation begins at 6pm. CFWWC receives 10% of al
 l sales from the evening between 5-7:30pm. The event is free to the public
 \, with a $5 donation suggested.
