 Science on Tap! Have a pint with the watershed council and the people w
 e work with while enjoying great food\, trivia\, and more! Free to enter\,
  and 10% of all sales benefit the CFWWC.\n\nFeaturing a presentation on th
 e Urban Waters and Wildlife program by Sarah Whitney\, Urban Waters &amp\;
  Wildlife Program Manager at the Long Tom Watershed Council!\n\n"The Urba
 n Waters &amp\; Wildlife Program provides scientific\, educational\, and 
 technical expertise to reduce pollutants entering our local rivers and str
 eams and introduce wildlife habitat deep into the city's heart. Most visib
 le is the work with commercial and industrial partners to address stormwat
 er pollution voluntarily in Eugene\, Springfield\, and the watershed's sma
 ller towns. This upstream approach improves drinking water in the Long Tom
  and Willamette rivers\, benefiting communities downstream in the watershe
 d and beyond."\n\nThe Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council (CFWWC) host
 s a family-friendly monthly public meeting series called Science on Tap on
  the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm at the Axe &amp\; Fiddle\, 65
 7 E. Main Street in Cottage Grove. The event begins with informal socializ
 ing\, trivia\, and updates about the watershed and watershed council. The 
 Science on Tap presentation begins at 6pm. CFWWC receives 10% of all sales
  from the evening between 5-7:30pm. The event is free to the public\, with
  a $5 donation suggested.
