DESCRIPTION:Participate in the 2023 City Nature Challenge (CNC) with Coast 
 Fork Birders!\n\nApril 29 • 8 AM - 11 AM • Cottage Grove\n\nGet outsid
 e with us April 29 for a guided bird walk to coordinate with the CNC. We
 ’ll be exploring areas around Cottage Grove\, looking to identify as man
 y species as possible to contribute important data about plants and animal
 s in Lane County. During this walk\, participants add their observations t
 o the iNaturalist app. It’s so simple\, we can even show you how!\nWe wi
 ll meet up at the Cottage Grove High School parking lot (1375 S River Rd\,
  Cottage Grove\, OR) at 8 AM. Parking available.\n\nThe walk will cover:\n
 • Forested area east of CG HS\n• Chambers Covered Railroad Bridge/logg
 ing pond  (1231 S River Rd\, Cottage Grove\, OR)\n• Along the river fro
 m CG HS to the Dr. Snapp House\n\n\nThe City Nature Challenge is a communi
 ty science bioblitz with the goal of observing and identifying as many spe
 cies as possible in urban communities and surrounding areas. Participants 
 from more than 450 cities worldwide will contribute and so can you! Just u
 pload your observations to iNaturalist to participate\, and follow along w
